San Carlos City mayor mourns death of health worker in road crash

BACOLOD CITY – San Carlos City, Negros Occidental Mayor Renato Gustilo mourned the death of a health worker in a two-vehicle accident in Barangay Rizal, San Carlos City on April 10.
Gustilo said that investigation is ongoing and called for the filing of appropriate charges to ensure accountability and justice for the 12 victims from the city’s primary care facility.
He recently visited the wake of the fatality – Perfecto Magbanua – to condole with his family and said the entire community mourns the loss and stands united with those affected during this difficult time.
The mayor visited the 11 injured victims in the hospital and assured the city government will continue to provide assistance and support to them.
Gustilo urged public servants to remain steadfast in their commitment to serving the community. "May this trial not weaken our commitment to public service, but instead strengthen our shared cause in serving those in need," said Gustilo.
