NewJeans spotted in Denmark, sparks interest about comeback
Three members of K-pop girl group NewJeans were spotted in Denmark, sparking interest about whether this was a sign that they would resume their career.
Last November, agency ADOR announced that Hyein and Haerin have returned to the company followed by Hanni in December. Danielle’s contract was terminated by the agency while Minji’s return is under discussion, Korean media reported.
This was after NewJeans and ADOR were embroiled in a court battle about the validity of NewJeans’ contract. ADOR won in the case.
Recently, an online post showed Haerin and Hyein in Copenhagen, Denmark. Hanni was also seen in the country.
"I met Haerin and Hyein by chance in Copenhagen. I told Hyein she was very pretty, and she kept smiling and thanking me. She even waved goodbye to us as she left,” according to a netizen who saw NewJeans.
ADOR confirmed that its staff accompanied NewJeans in Denmark.
"It is true that the New Jeans members visited Copenhagen, Denmark, along with staff,” ADOR told Korean media outlet Xportsnews.
