Mantawi Residences reaches new milestone as RLC builds up Cebu residential pipeline

Concrete pouring marks start of structural works for Mantawi Residences in Mandaue

Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) is expanding its residential developments in Cebu, with projects ranging from city condominiums to suburban and resort-style communities, reflecting steady demand from Cebuano homebuyers. As part of this expansion, Mantawi Residences in Mandaue City has entered a new phase of construction, marked by the ceremonial concrete pouring for Tower 1 in March 2026.

Mantawi Residences is part of RLC Residences’ wider portfolio in Cebu, which includes Galleria Residences Cebu and Azalea Place Cebu in Cebu City, AmiSa Private Residences and Blue Coast Residences in Lapu-Lapu City, and Aspen Heights in Consolacion. These projects reflect the range of its residential offerings in the province and the steady demand from Cebuano homebuyers. Designed for modern urban living, the development features spacious units, a 1.3-hectare amenity area, and a central location that supports daily convenience and long-term value.

RLC Residences executives, led by Teddy V. Bernas, senior vice president and business unit general manager, attended the ceremony alongside officials from Terp Asia Construction Corporation. During the event, Emmanuel Arce, head of Construction 1 and 2 at RLC Residences, said the milestone formally begins the project’s structural phase. “Today, we have just witnessed another ceremonial and technical milestone that will mark the official commencement of the many structural construction phases of Mantawi Residences, another project of RLC Residences aimed at bringing together carefully crafted living spaces and premium amenities in a central address.”
Located along Ouano Avenue, Mantawi Residences is positioned within a corridor that connects Mandaue and Cebu City, with access to key establishments and infrastructure such as the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway. Arce added that this location supports easier access to opportunities while making daily living more convenient, with spacious units and well-planned amenities designed for both residents and investors.

Even before completion, Mantawi Residences has already been recognized with several industry awards, including Best Sustainable Development at the DOT Property Philippines Awards 2025 and a Highly Commended citation in the Best High-End Condo Development (Metro Cebu) category at the PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards 2025. These add to earlier recognitions such as Best Luxury Condominium at the 2024 DOT Property Philippines Awards and Best Premium Condo – Visayas and Mindanao at The Outlook 2023: Philippine Real Estate Awards.
With construction progressing, Mantawi Residences is set for completion in February 2031, adding to Robinsons Land Corporation’s expanding residential portfolio in Cebu. The project supports the company’s continued growth in the region, offering a centrally located development designed for both homebuyers and investors.
