Honda took the wraps off three new models at the recently concluded Makina Moto Expo 2026, held from April 10 to 12 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Pasay City. These were the new WN7, The CB650R, and the NX500.
The timely unveiling happened during the 10th Anniversary of the Makina Moto, where the three-day event once again brought together riders, enthusiasts, and industry leaders from across Asia.
CBR650R
Built for fans of naked motorcycles who intend to draw stares on the street, the new CBR650R boasts of modern styling smooth, high-revving inline-four engine.
Easily the most notable improvement is the addition of Honda’s E-Clutch System that allows the rider to start, stop, and change gear without using the clutch lever, along with a quick shifter.
It also features Honda RoadSync connectivity for calls, messaging, navigation, and music via smartphone, paired with a five-inch full-color TFT display with optical bonding for improved readability and reduced glare. The Standard variant comes in Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic. The E-Clutch variant is available in Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, Grand Prix Red, and Matte Jeans Blue Metallic.
The CB650R Standard variant will retail at P525,000, while The CB650R E-Clutch variant will be available at P565,000.
NX500 E-Clutch
The NX500, on the other hand, is a more rugged and versatile option. Intended as a capable and versatile adventure motorcycle, it is engineered for riders seeking to explore beyond the city.
Like the CBR650R, it too gets a new E-Clutch variant to complement its lightweight build and confident handling. Like in the CBR650R, it allows the rider to start, stop, and change gear through pedal shifting without using the clutch lever.
It also features a 5-inch TFT Meter Display with optical bonding to reduce glare and improve readability, along with Honda RoadSync connectivity to link the motorcycle and smartphone via Bluetooth for navigation and app control. The model is available in Pearl Horizon Black and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.
The NX500 E-Clutch variant will be priced at P419,000.
WN7 EV
Honda also recognizes the growing need for alternative means of propulsion. As such, it introduced the WN7, highlighting Honda’s continued push toward electric vehicles. The WN7 is the brand’s first entry into full-size EV motorcycles designed for everyday urban mobility.
The electric motor delivers 18-kW of power and up to 50-kW peak output, paired with 100-Nm of torque for immediate acceleration and smooth power delivery. It accelerates from 0–50 meters in just 3.9 seconds, with a riding range of up to 144.1 km and a max speed of 129 km/h.
These capabilities make it a practical option for both daily commutes and longer urban rides. It also supports convenient charging, reaching a full charge in approximately 2.5 hours for normal charging while fast charging from 20% to 80% battery level can be achieved in just 0.5 hours.
Starting it up is easy with the Honda Smart Key System for ignition. It also comes with Honda RoadSync connectivity via Bluetooth for navigation, music, messages, and calls, all displayed on a five-inch TFT screen. Additionally, it is equipped with compact twin projector headlights with daytime running lights. For enhanced safety and maneuverability, it includes different riding modes, Selectable Speed Limit Assist, Selectable Deceleration Power levels, and low-speed forward and reverse assist functions for navigating tight spaces.
The Honda WN7 will be available this coming June 2026.
