  • The Geely EX2 made its Philippine debut at MIAS 2026 as a smaller battery electric vehicle aimed at city use.
  • Rear-wheel drive and a multi-link independent rear suspension give it a layout that remains uncommon in the entry-level EV segment.
  • A 39.4 kWh LFP battery, 325 km WLTP range, and up to 70 kW DC charging form the core of its everyday usability.
  • Cabin space is a major part of the package, with a 70-liter front trunk, 36 storage areas, and up to 1,320 liters of cargo capacity.
The Geely EX2 made its Philippine debut at MIAS 2026, giving the brand a smaller battery electric vehicle for the local market.
With a layout that immediately sets it apart from many rivals in the segment, the EX2 uses rear-wheel drive and a multi-link independent rear suspension, a less common combination in entry-level EVs where front-wheel drive and torsion beam rear suspension are still more common.
Power comes from Geely’s Eleven-in-One E-Drive system, which produces 116 PS and 150 Nm. The integrated drive unit combines several components into one assembly, reducing weight and freeing up space at the front. That gives the EX2 a 70-liter front trunk that can fit a 20-inch suitcase.
The EX2 has a 4.95-meter turning radius, a 36.9-meter braking distance from 100 km/h, and a 73.5 km/h result in the wet moose test.

Space and storage are among its stronger points. The cabin has 36 storage areas, including a 10-liter sliding drawer under the front passenger seat and 28 liters of storage under the rear seats. The rear cargo area holds 375 liters and expands to 1,320 liters with the rear seats folded. Rear legroom measures 890 mm, and the flat rear floor helps free up more usable passenger space.
The EX2 uses a 39.4 kWh LFP battery supplied by CATL, with a WLTP-rated driving range of 325 km. It supports DC fast charging of up to 70 kW and can charge from 30 to 80 percent in around 25 minutes. Liquid cooling is standard, and the battery system uses Geely’s cell-to-pack design.
Inside, the EX2 gets a 14.6-inch central screen, an 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster, and the Flyme Auto interface. Driver assistance features include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, and a 540-degree transparent chassis view.
The EX2 joins the EX5 EM-i in Geely’s electrified lineup for the Philippine market and gives the brand another entry in the small EV space.
Reservations for the EX2 opened at MIAS 2026 with a ₱5,000 reservation fee.
