Calvin Abueva was a huge part off the bench while Justin Arana and Juan Gomez de Liano showed the way for the FiberXers who improved to a 2-5 record, giving their flickering hopes some boost.
Converge began tearing the game apart in the second quarter when it outscored Titan, 30-18, to take a 57-41 lead after only leading by four, 27-23 at the end of the opening frame.
Arana led Converge with 19 points while Gomez de Liano added 15 points and seven rebounds. Import Kylor Kelly chipped in a double-double of 10 points and 14 rebounds to go with three blocks while Abueva had 14 points and five rebounds in just 16 minutes of play.
Michael Gilmore paced the Giant Risers with 26 points and 16 rebounds while Joshua Munzon was limited to just 15 though he had six steals.
Titan Ultra dropped to a 2-4 slate.
