3 escapees in Pangasinan recaptured within 72 hours

Police recaptured three escapees from the Sual Municipal Police Station in Pangasinan during a 72-hour manhunt operation.

The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPO) said they escaped on April 12. To speed up identification and seek public assistance, police released CCTV footage of the incident.

The Pangasinan PPO said through close coordination among police units, a series of follow-up operations, and sustained pursuit efforts, all escapees were eventually tracked down and arrested.

The suspects are back in police custody and set to face additional charges in accordance with existing laws.

Pangasinan PPO Director Police Col. Arbel C. Mercullo commended operating teams for their discipline, teamwork, and effective coordination.

He said the swift resolution of their escape reflects the high level of readiness and operational capability of the police in the province.
