Manila's P25K bakery aid, rice subsidies for 80,000 set to roll out this week
Speaking during a regular flag-raising ceremony led by the City Civil Registry Office, Francisco “Isko Moreno" Domagoso highlighted the city government’s ongoing efforts to provide both immediate relief and sustained support to the local residents
He confirmed that, beginning on Tuesday, April 14, the city government will distribute P25,000 in financial aid to local bakers.
“Ready na po kaming ipatupad ang tulong na ibinigay ng Office of the President (We are ready to implement the assistance provided by the Office of the President),” Domagoso said.
In addition, starting April 16, the city will begin the monthly distribution of 10 kilograms of rice to around 80,000 beneficiaries over a six-month period.
City officials said the initiatives aim to cushion the impact of inflation while supporting small businesses and vulnerable groups across Manila.
