The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) will resume the distribution of government cash assistance to registered tricycle drivers in Antipolo City on Wednesday, April 15.
The financial aid, which is part of the national government's social protection initiatives, aims to support local drivers whose livelihoods have been affected by recent economic disruptions.
Antipolo City Mayor Casimiro “Junjun” Ynares, III, citing the DSWD advisory, said the distribution of the ₱5,000 cash assistance will be held at the Ynares Event Center, the building at the back of the Ynares Center.
The distribution of the fuel subsidy in Antipolo began on April 8, with the payout done on per batch basis.
