ILOILO CITY – Tech giant Huawei is bringing its solar technology powered by artificial intelligence (AI) to Western Visayas region.
Huawei Digital Power inked partnerships with Filipino companies to bring its cutting edge renewable energy services to the country, including Western Visayas, which will be handled by VYA Solar Engineering.
Virma Yasa Apostol of VYA Solar Engineering said the partnership will boost choices for renewable energy as the power demand in Western Visayas continues to surge.
Apostol said the region comprising Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, and Iloilo provinces and the capital of Iloilo City is now in the radar of Huawei's renewable energy venture.
VYA Solar Engineering is the regional partner of LFJOY Global Strategic Solutions Inc., Huawei’s value-added partner.
Also present during the April 8 signing of the memorandum of understanding were Huawei Digital Power CEO Cody Gou and LFJOY Global CEO Jhoy Zao.
Huawei's AI-driven systems are designed to “optimize energy yield by using intelligent algorithms to maximize power generation.”
It also enhances safety by “utilizing AI for active protection such as arc-fault circuit interrupters.” It also provides streamline maintenance by “providing real-time diagnostics and predictive maintenance for residential and commercial users.”
