JM Dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano crowned grand winners of 'Your Face Sounds Familiar' season 4
JM Dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano have been crowned the grand winners of "Your Face Sounds Familiar" Season 4, claiming the title at the show’s grand showdown finale held today, April 12.
The pair clinched the title by achieving the highest combined score of 94 percent from their previous performances, along with the top jury score during "Your Face Sounds Familiar: The Grand Showdown."
For their final performance, the duo embodied Jennifer Holliday and Jessica Sanchez, delivering a showstopping rendition of “And I’m Telling You” that sent the live audience into a frenzy.
JM and Marielle expressed deep gratitude to the production team and the show for trusting them throughout the season to pull off challenging and iconic transformations. They also thanked each other, highlighting their strong teamwork, effort, and mutual support throughout the competition.
Over the course of the season, the tandem known as JMielle made a lasting impression on both audiences and the jury alike, earning the weekly winner title three times and proving their range by embodying a diverse roster of music legends.
In addition to the title, the grand winners walked away with a ₱1 million cash prize.
The road to the crown was far from easy, as the rest of the celebrity performers put on memorable showdown performances of their own. Jason Dy channeled Beyoncé, Jarlo Base embodied Freddie Mercury, Alexa Ilacad transformed into Shakira, Dia Mate took on Rihanna, Akira Morishita stepped into the shoes of Justin Timberlake, and Rufa Mae Quinto brought Katy Perry to life. All performers were also recognized with special awards for their contributions throughout the season.
The grand showdown was further highlighted by a special guest performance from Billy Crawford. Presiding over the finals was a distinguished jury panel composed of Erik Santos, Karla Estrada, Nyoy Volante, Klarisse de Guzman, Ogie Alcasid, and Gary Valenciano.
