Trailer dropped for K-pop boy band TWS' upcoming album 'No Tragedy'
K-pop boy band TWS dropped the narrative trailer for their upcoming fifth mini-album "No Tragedy," offering a glimpse into its theme.
Titled "Opening Sonnet : star-cross’d lovers," the trailer, released on HYBE Labels Official YouTube channel, evokes a sense of curiosity for the narrative that will unfold, with its title drawn from the renowned phrase featured in the prologue of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
The trailer opens on a moment of youthful anticipation. Upon receiving a text confession reading "I really like you," Dohoon breaks into a bright smile, while Kyungmin is seen carefully wrapping a gift—capturing the quiet excitement of first love.
As Youngjae traces the phrase "star-cross’d lovers" across the page, the scene lingers in a still, composed atmosphere that subtly hints at an impending shift.
The tone soon darkens when Shinyu and Hanjin appear deep in thought, while Jihoon shows signs of frustration as tension begins to surface.
A swan ornament—once facing one another—suddenly shatters, followed by the appearance of a stark warning reading "Beware the stars' curse against love."
As the space begins to distort, the boys’ fleeting moments of excitement fracture, leaving a red scratch on Hanjin's cheek. The trailer closes with a blinding, unidentified light rushing toward him—leaving a narrative unresolved and raising questions about what lies ahead.
Before this, TWS released a series of concept photos. The "Love Guide" version approached love through a playful, guidebook-style lens, while the "Final Love" version captured the emotional highs and lows of stepping into real-life dates—together tracing a natural progression from exploring love to actively pursuing it.
TWS wrapped up their "TWS 2nd Fanmeeting <42:Club> in Japan" on April 8 and 9, where they connected with approximately 30,000 fans—underscoring their expanding global reach.
"No Tragedy" will be released on April 27 at 6 p.m. KST (5 p.m. Philippine time).
