Changan shows off new CS35 Max, Eado Plus, and upcoming CS55 Plus at MIAS 2026

Changan used the 2026 Manila International Auto Show to push both its newer gasoline models and its growing electrified range straight into the spotlight. The all-new CS35 Max lead the brand’s activity on the opening day of the annual motorshow.
The booth brought together six vehicles from the local lineup: the all-new CS35 Max, all-new Eado Plus, Nevo Hunter K50 REEV, Nevo Q05 PHEV, Lumin BEV, and a preview of the new CS55 Plus. Visitors were also given a chance to test drive the Eado Plus, CS35 Max, Nevo Hunter 4x2 REEV, and Nevo Q05 iD PHEV.
CS35 Max
The new CS35 Max is one of the main additions to Changan’s Philippine range this year. Compared with the model it replaces, it gets a larger body, a 115 mm longer wheelbase, and a more heavily equipped cabin. Both variants carry 18-inch alloy wheels and a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Luxe adds a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, a six-speaker Sony sound system, a wireless charger, and a panoramic moonroof.
Under the hood is a 1.5-liter turbocharged BlueCore gasoline engine paired with a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. It produces 183-PS and 300-Nm. Drivers can choose from Eco, Normal, Sport, Race, and Smart modes. The CS35 Max Lite is priced at ₱1,109,999, while the Luxe is listed at ₱1,199,999. Available colors are White, Interstellar Gray, and Black.
Eado Plus
The Eado Plus gives Changan a new entry in the subcompact sedan class, a segment where price and equipment still matter heavily. It will be sold in Lite and Luxe trims, with regular prices of ₱750,000 and ₱799,999, respectively. Until April 30, 2026, Changan is offering introductory prices of ₱699,000 for the Lite and ₱749,999 for the Luxe. Buyers can choose from White, Black, Andean Gray, and Titanium Silver Gray for special-order units.
Also shown at MIAS was the new CS55 Plus, which Changan is targeting for a second-half 2026 launch. The model is set to become the brand’s main plug-in hybrid offering.
Nevo PHEVs
The rest of the display focused on electrified models. The Nevo Hunter K50 REEV, a range-extended electric pickup, is priced at ₱1,699,000 for the 4x2 and ₱1,970,000 for the 4x4. The 4x4 pairs a 2.0-liter turbocharged range extender with dual electric motors and a 31.18-kWh battery. It has an NEDC-rated pure-electric range of 131 km and a total range of 1,031 km. A long list of terrain modes also points to its intended mix of everyday and outdoor use.
The Nevo Q05 serves as the brand’s compact plug-in hybrid SUV entry. It uses a 1.5-liter BlueCore range extender and a dedicated hybrid transmission, producing 216 PS and 330 Nm. It has an NEDC-rated pure-electric range of 115 km and a total range of 1,215 km. Pricing starts at ₱1,259,000 for the SE and rises to ₱1,449,000 for the iD.
Lumin EV
At the smaller end of the lineup is the Lumin BEV, a city-focused hatchback offered with either a 17.65-kWh battery for 190 km of range or a 28.08-kWh battery for 301 km. Its front-mounted motor produces 48 PS and 83 Nm. The Lumin S is priced at ₱699,000, while the Lumin L comes in at ₱799,000.
The MIAS lineup gave Changan entries in the sedan, crossover, pickup, PHEV, and BEV spaces. The CS35 Max and Eado Plus are the more immediate retail offerings, while the Hunter K50, Q05, and Lumin widen the brand’s reach in electrified segments that are already developing locally.
