Irish actor Michael Patrick, known for his role as a Wildling in "Game of Thrones" Season 6, has passed away at the age of 35 after a three-year battle with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
He died on April 7, in a hospice in Northern Ireland, surrounded by his family and loved ones.
His passing was confirmed by his wife, Naomi Sheehan, in a heartfelt social media announcement.
Patrick was diagnosed with MND in February 2023, a progressive neurological condition that gradually affects movement and muscle function.
Despite his diagnosis, he continued to work in the creative arts and remained active in the industry for as long as possible.
Beyond his appearance in "Game of Thrones," Patrick also earned credits in "This Town," "Blue Lights," and "My Left Nut," building a reputation as a versatile actor across television and stage.
Tributes poured in following news of his passing, with colleagues describing him as a “titan” of resilience and creativity who continued to inspire others even in the face of illness.
