Anjo Pertierra and Eunice Jorge wedding goes public after surprise 'Unang Hirit' on-air celebration

The upcoming wedding of “Unang Hirit” host Anjo Pertierra and Eunice Jorge, vocalist of OPM band Gracenote, was publicly revealed after a surprise on-air pre-wedding celebration during the show’s UH Music Fest segment.
The celebration effectively turned their private wedding preparations into a public television moment ahead of the April 12 ceremony.
During the UH Music Fest at Bestlink College of the Philippines, Eunice and Gracenote performed live, including songs “When I Dream About You” and “Wasabi,” which she wrote for Anjo after they first met.
After the performance, hosts Suzi Entrata-Abrera and Kaloy Tingcungco surprised the couple with a live despedida de soltera y soltero, complete with a decorated stage, wedding cake, and sashes reading “Bride-to-be” and “Groom-to-be.”
The segment turned emotional as the couple’s families appeared on stage to give messages and blessings.
Eunice’s mother said, “May your love grow deeper each passing day,” while Anjo’s mother, Gloria, welcomed her warmly: “Eunice, welcome to the family… we are truly grateful and blessed.”
The “Unang Hirit” team also gave the couple surprise gifts, including matching couple pajamas and a giant pillow with their faces.
“Unang Hirit” host Arnold Clavio, who will serve as one of their principal sponsors, shared a message of blessing: “Kaligayahan sa inyong dalawa… sana huwag ninyong biguin ‘yon at panindigan hanggang sa huli.”
Anjo and Eunice first met during the “Unang Hirit Campus Tour” in 2024 at Bestlink College of the Philippines, where Eunice performed with Gracenote.
Anjo later said during the segment: “Dito ko siya unang nakita… iba ‘yung history ng Bestlink College of the Philippines para sa amin.”
They got engaged in July 2025 on Eunice’s birthday.
With the surprise on-air celebration, the couple’s wedding is now fully in the public eye ahead of their April 12 ceremony.
