The Manila International Auto Show 2026 (MIAS) formally opened this weekend at the World Trade Center Metro Manila and the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC). Following the milestone celebration of its 20th anniversary last year, MIAS continues to strengthen its position as the Philippines’ premier automotive event, driving sustained engagement across the industry.
This year, MIAS embraces the theme “Powering Mobility,” reflecting the show’s vision of advancing mobility through cutting-edge technologies and meaningful collaboration with leading world-class automotive brands, elevating the industry to new heights.

The opening ceremony was hosted by TV and events personality, James Deakin. Joseph L. Ang, the Founding Chairman of Worldbex Services International (WSI), delivered the opening remarks, highlighting the resilience of the automotive industry amid ongoing challenges and its continued drive toward progress.
“MIAS will highlight new energy vehicles, sustainable transport solutions, EV infrastructure, and commercial mobility innovations”.
The ceremony was further distinguished by esteemed guests from across the automotive and business sectors, such as Dexter Lloyd Cuajotor, Vice President for BPI Retail Lending and Bancassurance; Hon. Augustus “Joe” D. Ferreria, President of the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP); Hon. Imelda “Emi” Calixto-Rubiano, Pasay City Mayor; Hon. Markus V. Lacanilao, Chief of the Land Transportation Office (LTO); and Hon. Sec. Cristina Roque, Secretary for the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), represented by Hon. Usec. Ceferino “Perry” S. Rodolfo.
MIAS welcomes enthusiasts, industry leaders, and innovators for four days of exciting vehicle launches, interactive exhibits, and immersive experiences.
