Vice President Sara Duterte has warned the public about individuals posing as her on a messaging platform and advised them not to engage.
Duterte issued a statement on Wednesday, April 8, informing the public that some individuals are claiming to be her on a messaging platform.
She urged the public to refrain from engaging if they receive such suspicious messages and reminded them that she will never ask the public for financial favors.
If you receive any suspicious messages, especially from those claiming to be me, remember: do not engage, do not provide personal information, and most importantly, do not send money)," Duterte said.
I will never ask the public for any favor, whether financial or otherwise)," Duterte added.
She further reminded the public to remain vigilant against exploitative and deceitful individuals who take advantage of others, especially amid the ongoing challenges.
