Suspected DI member nabbed in Isabela

Police arrested a suspected member of the terrorist Dawlah Islamiyah wanted for murder on Thursday afternoon, April 9, in Barangay Cabaruan, Cauayan City, Isabela.
Police identified the suspect as alias Mao and Alvin Ampaso.
The suspect was arrested on a warrant issued on April 6 by Judge Leonor Sumugat Quiñones of the Regional Trial Court, 10th Judicial Region, Branch 6, Iligan City.
No bail was recommended for the suspect.
Isabela police chief Police Col. Manuel Bringas said the suspect was the third most wanted person in Bacolod City and the eighth most wanted in Lanao del Norte.
The suspect is under the custody of the Cauayan City police and is set to be turned over to the issuing court for proper legal proceedings.
