SM, ARISE PH rally partners to accelerate 2030 resilience goals

SM Prime Holdings and ARISE Philippines recently convened the ARISE Philippines 2026 Annual General Meeting to fast-track the national disaster resilience agenda. Led by Hans Sy, Chairman of the SM Prime Executive Committee and ARISE PH Chairperson, the summit gathered key network members and stakeholders to strengthen public-private strategies for disaster risk reduction.
The event was highlighted by the ceremonial launch of the new ARISE Philippines website and the introduction of the ARISE Knowledge Management System. Powered by IBM SkillsBuild and facilitated by Asia Pacific College, this new platform is designed to bolster technology-enabled resilience initiatives across the country.
The milestone gathering received strong institutional support from the Department of the Interior and Local Government, the Department of Science and Technology, DOST-PHIVOLCS, and the Bureau of Fire Protection, underscoring a unified national commitment to achieving global resilience targets by 2030.
