Three diesel theft suspects arrested in Bulacan

Three individuals involved in the theft of diesel fuel from a dump truck in Barangay Palapala, San Ildefonso, were arrested by Bulacan police operatives on Wednesday, April 8.
According to San Ildefonso police chief Lt. Col. Gilmore A. Wasin, the incident occurred around 1:43 a.m. at a construction materials trading site.
Based on the victim’s report, approximately 200 liters of diesel worth ₱25,400 were stolen from an Isuzu Giga dump truck parked in the area.
CCTV footage revealed that the suspects arrived in a white vehicle and repeatedly siphoned diesel using containers.
Through immediate verification at the Land Transportation Office (LTO), authorities identified the registered owner of the vehicle, who provided information that led to the identification of the suspects.
As a result, the San Ildefonso Municipal Police, in coordination with the Rodriguez Municipal Police Station of Rizal PPO, conducted a joint operation that led to the arrest of three suspects identified as alias Jul, 44; alias Onad, 26; and alias Manny, 30.
They were apprehended in separate locations in Rodriguez, Rizal, and Quezon City.
The vehicle used in the crime and two empty diesel tanks believed to have been used in the theft were also recovered.
Meanwhile, another suspect remains at large.
The arrested individuals were brought to the San Ildefonso police station for documentation, while preparations are underway for the filing of theft charges against them.
Bulacan police officer-in-charge Col. Jay B. Baybayan commended the swift coordination and operation that resulted in the immediate arrest of the suspects.
He emphasized that the Bulacan PNP will continue to intensify operations against criminal activities to protect citizens and maintain peace and order in the province.
