The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) deployed 741 personnel in a citywide anti-criminality operation, apprehending 437 violators for offenses including public drinking and videoke noise.
Authorities said the simultaneous conduct of checkpoint operations and Oplan Bulabog/Galugad targeted street-level offenses.
The operations also strengthened coordination with local government units and community forces to maintain peace and order.
Police said those apprehended were involved in 60 cases of public drinking, 33 cases of videoke noise, and 213 cases of indecent exposure.
Another 131 were apprehended for curfew violations among minors.
A total of 398 individuals were issued citation tickets for traffic and ordinance violations, with penalties amounting to P473,000.
Meanwhile, 39 minors were referred for counseling before being turned over to their guardians.
“These operations underscore our commitment to maintaining peace and order through sustained, intelligence-driven, and community-oriented policing,” said Police Brig. Gen. Randy Glenn Silvio, QCPD chief.
