K-pop group Monsta X thrilled to return to US TV show 'Good Morning America'
K-pop boy band Monsta X returned to the US TV show “Good Morning America” after about six years.
To mark the release of their third English-language album “Unfold,” Monsta X staged a riveting live performance and shared their excitement for their ongoing world tour, “The X : Nexus.”
Monsta X premiered “Heal,” the lead single from “Unfold,” on “Good Morning America” With the new style of song, the members delivered strong vocals and rich emotional expression, demonstrating their musical growth and versatility. Their distinct vocal tones added layers of emotion to the performance, mesmerizing global audiences.
With “Unfold,” Monsta X became the first K-pop act to put out three full-length albums in English.
“We’ve prepared a lot of different styles of songs focusing on vocals and emotions. It is a ‘no-skip’ album,” said Monsta X.
Shortly before the show, Monsta X made headlines by extending their world tour to North America, adding 10 new stops.
Kicking off in Fairfax on Oct. 3, they will perform in cities including New York, Toronto and Los Angeles, before wrapping up in Seattle on Oct. 24.
“We are finally back with something new,” said Monsta X, adding that those curious about their music and performances should join them.
"Unfold" traces a flow of authentic emotions. Capturing the process of confronting emotional fractures and choosing healing and growth, the album carries 10 tracks spanning genres such as R&B, pop, hip-hop, and alternative pop.
Among them, “Heal” is a soulful pop track that blends a deep bassline with orchestral strings, conveying a tender message of love and recovery.
Members of Monsta X are currently meeting global fans through their world tour. Their next stop is Jakarta, Indonesia, on April 18, followed by more cities including Osaka, Mexico City, and Sao Paulo.
