Fire hits Tacloban village; 15 houses razed

TACLOBAN CITY – Fifteen houses were destroyed in a fire before dawn on Wednesday in Barangay 80 Marasbaras, this city.
The fire was reported at around 2:30 a.m. by a resident of the area.
The resident noticed flames engulfing a neighbor’s house shortly after stepping out of his residence.
The Tacloban City Fire Station declared the fire under control at 4 a.m. Fire out declared out at 4:36 a.m.
Damage to property was estimated at P200,000. No injuries or casualties were reported.
Arson investigators have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
