Mead Johnson moves headquarters to Megaworld's Uptown Bonifacio
Megaworld Corp., the Philippines’ largest office landlord, said Mead Johnson Nutrition Philippines will relocate its headquarters to the developer’s Uptown Bonifacio township in Taguig City.
Mead Johnson, a unit of U.K.-based consumer health giant Reckitt Benckiser Group Plc, is moving its local operations to the newly completed Uptown Eastgate tower.
The move marks a consolidation of Mead Johnson’s activities with Reckitt Philippines, the company behind global brands such as Lysol, Durex, and Enfamil. The pharmaceutical and nutrition firm joins a growing roster of blue-chip tenants in the 15-hectare township, including JPMorgan Chase & Co., Google, Tesla Inc., and Coca-Cola Co.
Uptown Eastgate, a 31-story tower, is the largest single-office development available for lease in the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) area. The building, which holds a LEED Gold certification for sustainability, offers 100,000 square meters of gross leasable area and features floor plates of up to 5,000 square meters—among the largest in the Philippine market.
“Uptown Bonifacio continues to attract the world’s biggest companies because it offers a complete ecosystem for success,” Francis Roxas, head of Megaworld Global Offices, said in a statement.
He noted that the development’s mix of modern workspaces, residential towers, and commercial districts meets international standards for multinational headquarters and shared services operations.
Megaworld, led by billionaire Andrew Tan, currently manages nearly 900,000 square meters of office space within BGC alone, representing more than half of its 1.7 million-square-meter nationwide portfolio.
The company reported that its office leasing revenues climbed 11 percent to ₱14.9 billion in 2025, buoyed by rental escalations and high occupancy rates from business process outsourcing (BPO) firms and multinational tenants.
According to data from property consultancy CBRE Philippines, Megaworld ended 2025 as the country’s leading office lessor. The developer closed approximately 162,000 square meters of office transactions during the year, driven by expansions in Metro Manila and provincial hubs such as Iloilo, Bacolod, and Davao.
Uptown Bonifacio now hosts more than 30 companies employing over 60,000 professionals across seven office towers. (James A. Loyola)
