Antipolo coffee shop gives away fuel vouchers to motorcycle taxi riders, tricycle drivers

A branch of a coffee shop in Antipolo City gave away free fuel vouchers worth P300 to lucky motorcycle taxi riders and tricycle drivers who lined up at a gasoline station in Antipolo City on April 7.

The Weekend Kofi - Antipolo Branch, in a Facebook post, said at least 84 riders and motorcycle taxi drivers would receive P300 fuel vouchers, which they can redeem at Petro Gazz station in Antipolo City.

Several riders and tricycles had lined up at the gasoline station, as the distribution was scheduled at 4 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.
Several netizens, upon learning about the free fuel vouchers, donated cash to support the activity initiated by the coffee shop. As of 4 p.m., 81 vouchers had already been distributed.
Long lines formed around the gasoline station as early as noon on Tuesday, with some riders eating lunch while waiting to ensure they would receive a voucher.
As of this posting, the gas station branch at J.P. Rizal Street near Monte Rosas Executive Village in Antipolo has begun filling fuel tanks of the 84 vehicles that received vouchers.
Earlier, the coffee shop announced that a portion of the sales would be allocated to the free fuel project for riders and tricycle drivers.
