F4 confirms Manila stop for 'F4EVER' comeback tour

As a music group, F4 released several albums, including "Meteor Rain" (2001), "Fantasy 4ever" (2002), and "Waiting for You" (2007), cementing their influence beyond television.

The original members of F4 are set to return to Manila as part of their upcoming “F4EVER” tour, with Taiwan-based label B’in Music confirming the Philippine capital as one of the scheduled stops.

Other cities on the tour include Chongqing, Jakarta, Bangkok, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur.

Exact dates and venue details for the Manila leg have yet to be announced.

The group—Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, and Vanness Wu—will be joined by Ashin, frontman of Taiwanese band Mayday, for the tour.

However, Ken Chu will not participate, having earlier confirmed he would skip the long-anticipated comeback.

F4 rose to prominence through the hit 2001 drama "Meteor Garden," which became a cultural phenomenon across Asia, including the Philippines.

The series, based on the Japanese manga "Boys Over Flowers" by Yoko Kamio, starred late actress Barbie Hsu alongside the group.

Hsu, who passed away in February 2025 due to influenza-related pneumonia, was instrumental in the show’s success, which helped launch the careers of the four male leads and paved the way for the rise of idol dramas in the region.
