BOLINAO, Pangasinan — Hundreds of people trooped to Patar Beach here to relax on Black Saturday.
Authorities reported increased vehicle volume on major roads leading to the beach, resulting in heavy traffic and limited parking.
People began arriving as early as dawn to secure cottages and favorable spots on the shoreline.
They were reminded to observe safety precautions,
proper waste disposal, and adherence to guidelines during their stay.
Patar Beach is one of the top destinations in Pangasinan during the Holy Week due to its scenic beauty and vibrant atmosphere.
Meanwhile, the Isabela Police Provincial Office (IPPO) held the Stations of the Cross inside their headquarters in Ilagan City, Isabela on Good Friday to reinforce faith and unity among police personnel.
IPPO chief Police Col. Manuel B. Bringas said the Stations of the Cross reflected on the sacrifices of Jesus and the deeper meaning of service, humility, and compassion and strengthened not only camaraderie but also the moral and spiritual foundation of every police officer.
Bringas said faith is a guiding force in public service and encouraged personnel to live out the teachings of Christ in their daily responsibilities.
