Under the directive of Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, the city has mobilized an inter-agency response to ensure the orderly flow of traffic and the safety of the commuting public amid the expected influx.
Rubiano said key agencies have been deployed at transport hubs to manage crowds and respond to emergencies.
The Pasay police are on the ground to maintain peace and order, while the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) remains on standby for any urgent incidents.
Traffic personnel have also been assigned to regulate the flow of vehicles in and around the terminals, easing congestion along major roads.
Meanwhile, the City Health Office has stationed medical teams to provide first aid and immediate assistance to travelers in need.
Fire safety is likewise being enforced, with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) conducting inspections and implementing preventive measures in crowded areas.
Barangay officials are also actively assisting in monitoring and ensuring safety within their respective jurisdictions.
Rubiano assured the public that all efforts are being made to ensure smooth and secure travel for those heading to their respective provinces.
She emphasized that the entire city remains under Blue Alert Status, ensuring heightened readiness among all disaster and emergency response units.
The Pasay City Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is also operating 24/7 to address public concerns and respond promptly to any situation, reinforcing the city’s commitment to public safety during one of the busiest travel periods of the year.
