Las Piñas DRRMO on standby to ensure safe Visita Iglesia

The Las Piñas Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) is on full standby as thousands of devotees are expected to visit churches in the city this Holy Week, ensuring a safe and orderly observance of Visita Iglesia.

The DRRMO is conducting close monitoring in key areas to promptly assist the public.
Las Piñas Mayor April Aguilar said the city government is coordinating with various agencies to maintain peace and order, manage crowds, and respond to any emergencies during the religious tradition.
Aguilar also advised residents and visitors participating in Visita Iglesia to take necessary precautions amid the hot weather.
She encouraged the public to bring protective items such as umbrellas, stay hydrated, and remain mindful of their surroundings to ensure a smooth and meaningful church visit.
The city government reaffirmed its commitment to public safety and urged everyone to cooperate and observe responsible practices throughout the Holy Week activities.
