Celebrated contemporary designer Kelly Wearstler partners with H&M Home on a collection rooted in ritual and modularity. Known for her bold layering of eras, materials, and textures, she brings her distinctly eclectic design language into a more accessible, everyday context, inviting more homes into her world.
At its core, the collection is anchored on two ideas: ritual and modularity. They sound almost philosophical, but in Wearstler’s hands, they become deeply tactile.
“Ritual is instinct, the pieces you reach for without thinking. Modularity is freedom. A chair becomes a sofa, a table expands and adapts. Nothing should feel fixed. Spaces should move with you,” Wearstler explained.

Materiality, as expected, is central to the collection. Wood, metal, and marble ground the pieces with a sense of permanence, while the forms themselves introduce an element of surprise. There’s a sculptural quality throughout with objects that feel almost like art, yet remain entirely functional.
The collaboration makes its global debut at Milan Design Week on April 21, 2026, staged within the historic Palazzo Acerbi, a 17th-century Baroque palace that, until now, has remained largely closed to the public.
“Milan has become such an exciting convergence of creative minds, not just in design, but also in fashion, food, automotive and tech. It gets to the core of what motivates and inspires me. I’ve been searching for the right opportunity to bring a full-scale installation to life that would transport and inspire people from around the world,” said Wearstler.

When asked to name a favorite piece from the collection, the designer said, “I genuinely love them all. I particularly enjoyed experimenting with perspective and illusion throughout the range, infusing everyday objects with elements of surprise and play. Pieces such as the Aurex table lamp and the Curva vase are great examples of this.”
“These pieces are meant to live with you, layered into your everyday life,” Wearstler added. “I cannot wait to see how you make them your own.”
The collection launches on September 3, 2026.
