Driver killed as truck rams store in Quezon

SARIAYA, Quezon – A 49-year-old driver was killed and a store employee was injured after a tanker rammed a store in Barangay Montecillo here on Wednesday night, April 1.
Police identified the victim as Jennifer, male, and a resident of Trece Martires City, Cavite.
Investigation said Jennifer lost control of the tanker on the way to deliver gasoline in Barangay Concepcion Palasan here.
The tanker swerved and crashed into a store. Bryan, a store employee, was injured. Jennifer was pinned inside the truck and died on the spot.
Bryan was taken to a hospital. Damage to property is yet to be determined.
Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
