Motorcycle-tricycle collision leaves 5 injured in Manila
Five individuals were reported hurt following a road crash between a motorcycle and a tricycle along Road 10 at the corner of Pacheco Street in Manila on Tuesday, March 31, the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) said.
According to the initial report, a 42-year-old man sustained an open fracture on his left foot, wounds on his left knee, and a deformity on his left hand; a 55-year-old male suffered from a head wound, swelling of the right leg, and chest pains; and a 49-year-old woman sustained a head concussion.
All three victims were rushed to the hospital to receive urgent medical care.
Meanwhile, two other victims, a 36-year-old male who sustained wounds on his left knee and right foot, as well as another man with swollen legs, were given first aid by the rescuers but refused to be brought to the hospital.
The police are still investigating the incident.
It had also reminded motorists to take extra caution when driving, especially during the Holy Week.
