Caloocan, Navotas LGUs announce road closures, service adjustments for Holy Week

The Caloocan and Navotas city governments have announced road closures and service adjustments to ensure an orderly and safe observance of Holy Week.
In Caloocan, several roads will be temporarily closed to give way to activities at the San Roque Cathedral Parish.
For the Good Friday procession on April 3 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., affected roads include A. Mabini corner C3 to A. Mabini corner Sangandaan, as well as A. Mabini corner 10th Avenue.
The same routes will also be closed during the Salubong procession on April 4 from 2:30 a.m. to 8 a.m.
Another closure will be implemented from 9 a.m. on April 4 until 8 a.m. on April 5, covering A. Mabini corner Burgos Street and A. Mabini corner Bato Street.
Traffic enforcers will be deployed to assist motorists and manage traffic flow.
Meanwhile, the Navotas City government announced the closure of M. Naval Street corner C4 Road to North Bay Boulevard corner Lapu-Lapu Avenue from 11 a.m. on April 2 until 6 p.m. on April 3 for Holy Week activities.
City Hall offices, as well as the Navotas City Hospital Outpatient Department and telemedicine services, will be closed from 12 noon of April 1 until April 5.

However, the hospital’s Emergency Department and offices handling disaster response and emergency services will remain open.
The local governments advised residents and visitors to plan their trips ahead and follow traffic advisories during the Holy Week period.
