MG Philippines will run its 2026 Holy Week Motorist Assistance Program from April 2 to 5, with selected dealerships staying open and support points positioned for customers traveling during the long break.
The program covers Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday, when vehicle volume typically rises as motorists head out of Metro Manila and other key urban centers for provincial trips. For this year, MG’s support network includes participating in-dealer assistance sites in NCR, Luzon, and VisMin, giving the brand a wider operating footprint during the holiday period.
Available services include preventive maintenance service, a free 36-point vehicle inspection, and on-site technical support. Those services will be available through participating dealerships such as MG Alabang and MG Makati in NCR; MG Angeles, Bacoor, Baguio, Batangas, Dasmarinas, Legazpi, Marilao, Nueva Ecija, and San Pablo in Luzon; and MG Bacolod, Bohol, Davao Matina, Gensan, and Iloilo in Visayas and Mindanao.
The network also includes MG Pulilan, which will operate an offsite assistance station at Petron Gasoline Station, Pulilan Baliwag Bypass Road, Balatong-B, Pulilan, Bulacan. That gives the program an actual roadside presence along a known travel corridor, instead of limiting support to dealership facilities alone.
By adding an offsite station to its in-dealer coverage, MG gives owners access to help both before departure and while already on the road. That matters during Holy Week, when long drives, stop-and-go traffic, and high daytime temperatures can expose weak batteries, worn tires, overdue fluids, or other issues that may not show up in shorter daily use.
The free 36-point inspection stands out as one of the more useful parts of the program, particularly for owners preparing for longer drives. Preventive maintenance service availability during the same period also gives customers a service option even within the holiday window, which is useful for those whose trips fall close to their scheduled maintenance dates.
Holiday assistance campaigns have become a regular part of the local automotive calendar, but their usefulness often comes down to whether support is available where motorists are actually driving. In MG’s case, the 2026 program is backed by a dealership list that stretches from NCR and Luzon to VisMin, plus an offsite Bulacan station that adds practical roadside reach during the busiest travel days of the break.
