Jerald Napoles and Kim Molina-Napoles
Fresh from saying 'I Do' last March 1, newlywed couple Jerald Napoles and Kim Molina are enjoying the new phase of their relationship.
During the red carpet premiere of their new film ''Wonderful Nightmare'', Kim shared heartfelt before-and-after moments from their wedding.
"Since nag-live in naman na kami accidentally and nu'ng first night namin medyo tipsy, so nu'ng paghiga namin talaga, 'Oh tapos?' Nag-reminisce na lang kami (about the wedding) kasi it was very magical, because, well, the theme is magical. It's a mermaid dream wedding, even the sky turned pink, orange, and purple, so medyo nawiwindang lang kami dun sa mga little details na ganun. That's basically our first night. Nag-usap lang kami pero after five minutes tulog na," Kim said.
As to why they decided on March 1 as wedding date, Kim explained, "The reason why March 1 yung wedding kasi I decided na yung after party salubong ng birthday niya [Jerald] kasi hindi pa nagbi-birthday party si Je ever in his life. So, it's also the first time na nag birthday party siya na both of his parents are present. Basically, after the wedding, it was moments with the people close to us."
Known as a successful comedic tandem, Kim and Jerald also shared how they came up with their viral wedding intro.
According to Kim, she was the one who came up with the idea of having a playful introduction.
"Ayaw kasi namin yung boring na program. Gusto namin gawin natin yung mga ganyan. Tapos deretso nang afterparty, kasi birthday ni Jerald din the next day. Parang ayoko pumasok ng normal. mahihiya akong pumasok and kailangan smile-smile for the SDE. Ayoko lang ng ganun," Kim said.
The viral moment featured Alden Richards and Gerald Anderson escorting Kim, while Jerald did the same with Kim Atienza.
According to the couple, they weren't expecting it to go viral; they just wanted to have a fun.
“Wonderful Nightmare” will be shown in cinemas on April 4.
