According to the city’s Public Information Office, the initiative aims to recognize academic excellence and encourage students to continue striving in their studies.
Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan congratulated the awardees and assured continued support from the city government.
“Congratulations, achievers! We have been giving incentives like this every year, and we hope you continue to strive harder in your studies and serve as an inspiration to your fellow students),’” Malapitan said.
He added that the city remains committed to helping students achieve their goals.
I believe that all of you will have a bright future because of the determination you are showing now in achieving your dreams),” the mayor said.
Malapitan also emphasized that improving the quality of education remains a priority of his administration.
The city government will continue providing free school supplies and upgrading school facilities to support both students and teachers, he added.
