The Bulacan Police Provincial Office (PPO) has deployed more than 3,000 personnel across the province for the observance of Holy Week and Safe Summer Vacation (SUMVAC) 2026.

A total of 3,118 personnel were mobilized, including 1,713 Bulacan police personnel, 109 personnel from the Reactionary Standby Support Force (RSSF) provincial headquarters, and 299 personnel from various support units.

The deployment is further reinforced by 997 members of advocacy groups and force multipliers.

Bulacan police director Col. Angel Garcillano said the move aims to ensure a safe, orderly, and peaceful observance of Holy Week.

Police personnel were assigned to key areas such as churches, transport terminals, major roads, and other convergence points to ensure visibility and quick response.

Police Assistance Desks (PADs) were also set up, while foot and mobile patrols were intensified to deter criminal activities and assist the public.

Road safety marshals were deployed to manage traffic and assist motorists amid the expected influx of travelers and pilgrims.

Authorities said personnel had been positioned in churches and other areas even before the peak of Holy Week to secure religious activities, including Palm Sunday observances.

“Ang layunin natin ay tiyakin ang kaligtasan ng bawat mamamayan na nagnanais magnilay ngayong Semana Santa. Ang Bulacan PPO ay nananatiling handa, nakaantabay, at patuloy na maglilingkod nang may integridad at malasakit (Our goal is to ensure the safety of every citizen who wishes to reflect this Holy Week. The Bulacan PPO remains ready, on standby, and will continue to serve with integrity and care),” Garcillano said.
