President Marcos has declared special non-working days in several areas for the celebration of their respective founding anniversary.

Under Proclaimation No. 1203, April 7 will be a special non-working day in Mountain Province, which will mark its founding anniversary.

The declaration aims to give the people of Mountain Province full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration.

Marcos also approved the declaration of a special non-working day in the municipality of Rizal in Occidental Mindoro on April 6 for its founding anniversary.

The municipality's anniversary was originally dated on April 3, which falls on Good Friday. 

Through Proclamation No. 1202, Marcos approved to move the holiday to April 6.

The President also declared April 11 as a special non-working day in the municipality of Dolores, Quezon Province for the celebration of its 191st founding anniversary.

The local holiday in Quezon Province was declared through Proclamation No. 1200.

Executive Secretary Ralph Recto signed the proclamations on March 26 by the authority of the President.

Through Proclamation No. 1198, Marcos further declared April 24 as a special non-working day in Sulop, Davao Del Sur for the municipality's founding anniversary.

April 6 was also proclaimed as a special non-working day in the municipality of Magsaysay in Occidental Mindoro for its founding anniversary.

The municipality's anniversary also falls on April 3, Good Friday. Thus, Marcos approved to move the local holiday to April 6 via Proclamation No. 1197.

The two proclamations were signed on March 23.
