This serum promises to elevate radiance through both science and sensoriality
Sisley Black Rose Concentrate Radiant Youth Serum boosts glow, hydration, and skin smoothness
When a cult skincare line announces a new addition, beauty insiders pay attention. Last Monday, March 23, 2026, Sisley hosted an intimate launch of the new Black Rose Concentrate Radiant Youth Serum at Fable Cafe + Lounge in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
Two features give this range a lasting impression. Its ultra-light texture melts into skin almost immediately, leaving behind a soft, velvety finish that feels neither greasy nor heavy. The floral scent calms and relaxes, a delicate combination of rose, magnolia, and geranium, layered with May rose water.

More than texture
But beyond these sensorial qualities is what the product delivers and how it was developed. It is designed to enhance the four facets of youthful radiance through Radiant Youth technology: plumpness, texture, vitality, and luminosity.
“The texture is very important, but also how it transforms the skin,” noted Sue Lewis, who flew in from Hong Kong. “We tend to look at the needs of the skin. The Black Rose range is about trying to maintain the youthfulness and vitality of the skin at a certain age.”
Four facets of radiance
Hyaluronic acid and a biosaccharide solution work to restore plumpness through hydration and collagen support. A gentle infusion of lemon extract refines skin texture through micro-exfoliation, while red vine extract helps revive vitality. Einkorn wheat extract, meanwhile, enhances luminosity by optimizing how light reflects on the skin.
Its molecular extract is rich in anthocyanins, naturally occurring compounds found in deeply pigmented plants and known for their antioxidant properties. “Anthocyanins are found in foods that are very rich in color, like blackberries,” Sue explained. “They are very strong and effective antioxidants. The ones we use are found in a type of black rose.”
Combined with sea rockweed extract and vitamin B12, the formula helps defend skin against environmental stressors such as pollution and UV exposure, while also soothing it. Because of their potency, these ingredients present a unique challenge. “They are very powerful, but not very stable,” she said. “That is why we use special packaging. The active ingredients are protected until first use.”
Packed with innovation
What sets the serum apart is its dual-phase packaging system, which keeps the formula protected from air and light. This ensures that its efficacy remains intact upon activation, with an estimated shelf life of six months once opened.
Sue emphasized that the collection is not about reversing time, but preserving what is already there. “When you are young, everything is at its optimum. The skin’s radiance and vitality are at their peak. What we would like to try to do is preserve that look and the way the skin feels for as long as possible.”
