Red Velvet's Irene announces details of her first solo Asian tour
The leader of Korean girl group Red Velvet, Irene, is set to hold concerts in five different countries for her 2026 Solo Asia Tour, “I-WILL."
The tour details were announced through the group’s official social media account.
Irene will kick off the tour with a two-day concert on May 23 and 24 at the Jangchung Arena in Seoul, South Korea.
This will be followed by another two-day stop in Taipei, Taiwan, at the NTU Sports Center on June 6 and 7.
Irene will then continue the tour with one-day stops in Macau at Studio City Event Center on June 20, Singapore at The Theatre at Mediacorp on July 4, and Bangkok at MCC Hall, The Mall Bangkapi, on July 18, marking the final stop of the tour.
Ahead of her tour, Irene is set to release her first full-length album, "Biggest Fan," on March 30.
Highlighting her growth and self-confidence, the album features 10 new tracks, with “Biggest Fan” serving as the title track.
Showcasing her versatility as an artist, the album features R&B pop, dreamy melodies, hip-hop rhythms, lively grooves, and retro influences.
Aside from the title track, other songs on the album include "Don’t Wanna Get Up," "Wasteland," "Black Halo," "Face to Face," "Spit It Out," "Million Miles Away," "Love Can Make A Way," and "MTV (My Timeless Video)."
With her album launching before the tour, Irene is expected to include its tracks in her concert setlist.
