The Cavite Police Provincial Office (Cavite PPO) is on full alert starting Friday, March 27, to ensure a peaceful observance of Holy Week throughout the province.
Cavite PPO Director Col. Ariel R. Red has directed all municipal and component city police stations, as well as operational support units, to intensify security measures in their respective jurisdictions.

Police presence will be heightened in churches, pilgrimage sites, transport terminals, major roads, tourist destinations, malls, and other areas expected to draw large crowds of devotees, travelers, and vacationers during the Lenten break.
Personnel will also be strategically deployed to conduct patrol operations, manage traffic, provide public assistance, and monitor public spaces.
Alongside Cavite PPO, barangay officials, force multipliers, and partner agencies are also on standby to ensure faster response and effective peace and order operations.
Authorities, meanwhile, urged the public to remain vigilant, especially when traveling or leaving homes unattended.
Residents are advised to secure their homes, avoid posting real-time travel updates on social media, safeguard valuables, and report suspicious activities or unattended items to authorities.
