Women leaders take the helm as WomenBizPH charts course for 2026 ASEAN
Just as Women’s Month comes to a close, an intimate event held at the Centro de Turismo in Intramuros marked the official induction and handover ceremony for the new Board of Directors and Trustees of the Women’s Business Council Philippines (WomenBizPH). A leading advocacy group for women in business in the country, the council serves as a platform for influential women leaders and entrepreneurs to engage in government policymaking, regional trade integration, and nationwide economic mobilization.

The highlight announcement revealed that, in partnership with the DTI, the Philippine Commission on Women, and the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, WomenBizPH will mount a 2026 roadmap headlined by the ASEAN Women Economic Summit (AWES), the ASEAN Trade Expo, and the Amazing Weaves and Waves Fair. These events will take place from Nov. 7 to 9, 2026, at Okada Manila, as part of the country’s year-long hosting of ASEAN.
Rosemarie Bosch-Ong was inducted as the new WomenBizPH president.
