Operatives of the Parañaque City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) arrested three drug suspects and seized shabu worth P102,000 in a buy-bust operation early Wednesday, March 26.
Col. Nicolas Pinon, Parañaque City Police chief, identified the suspects as Wowie, 51; Miguel, 20; and Alex, 50. They were apprehended at around 1:51 a.m. on Pelaez Street in Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City.
Pinon said the suspects were on the police watchlist for illegal drug activities.
An undercover police officer acting as a poseur-buyer was able to transact with the suspects for the purchase of shabu, which led to their arrest.
Authorities confiscated about 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000, along with the buy-bust money.
The suspects are currently detained at the police custodial facility and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
