Zeinab Harake not closing her doors on showbiz
Content creator and influencer Zeinab Harake said she has not completely closed her doors on showbiz, as long as the project aligns with her values and current priorities.
Zeinab, who last appeared in the 2023 horror film “Kampon,” noted that her initial attempt to enter showbiz came with challenges. It will be recalled that she had a controversy before with Wilbert Tolentino and actor-host Robi Domingo.
“During that time ko kasi na tina-try ko mag-showbiz, sunod-sunod ang intriga. So okay din po yung nananahimik din ako,” she shared (“During the time I was trying to enter showbiz, the controversies kept coming one after another, so it was also good for me to stay quiet.”).
Now enjoying a more stable and peaceful married life with the man of her dreams, Bobby Ray Parks Jr., Zeinab said she remains open to returning to the big screen, but with limitations .
“Opo, not closing naman my door to showbiz. Basta po kaya ko po. And wala po akong mapapahiya, wala akong maaabala. I’m willing to do that. Pero syempre may limitations,” she said (Yes, I’m not closing my doors. As long as I can do it and I won’t embarrass anyone or cause inconvenience, I’m willing to do it, but of course there are limitations.).
Among those boundaries are more intimate scenes. She also expressed interest in exploring different roles, including drama and even 'contravida' characters.
Zeinab shared updates about her life during her contract renewal with Luxe Slim, where CEO Anna Magkawas, who also served as her ninang during her wedding, continues to support her career.
The social media personality admitted that her priorities have shifted since getting married, with family now taking center stage. She shared her hopes of building a big family with her loving husband.
“Gusto ko tatlong lalaki. Para si Bia (her daughter) lang ang princess, at saka ako,” she said (I want three boys so Bia will be the only princess, along with me.).
While she leaves everything to faith, Zeinab said she is excited about the idea of raising children who could excel in both sports and pageantry.
“Magandang kombinasyon… basketball player… sila na lang mag-pageant at basketball,” she quipped. (It would be a great combination. They can be basketball players and also join pageants.).
The pretty influencer also expressed confidence in their ability to raise a larger family.
“Parehas kami ni Ray na good provider. Tingin namin kaya namin ang big family,” she said (We are both good providers. We believe we can handle a big family.).
Zeinab also spoke about the realities of married life, especially with Ray being a professional basketball player in Japan.
“Pag uuwi po kasi talaga siya, 48 hours lang every two weeks. Mas sinusulit namin yun,” she shared (“When he comes home, it’s only for 48 hours every two weeks, so we really make the most of it.”).
Despite the distance, she said their arrangement allows them both to grow individually while supporting each other’s careers.
“May sarili siyang time sa career niya, may sarili akong time sa career ko,” she said (He has his own time for his career, and I have mine as well.).
However, Zeinab stated that married life has given her more financial stability and more freedom to say no to projects.
“Ngayon, may choice na ako, puwede na akong mag-no kapag hindi ako comfortable kasi may katuwang na ako sa buhay,” she said (Now I have a choice. I can say no if I'm not comfortable because I already have a life partner).
