Isuzu Philippines Corporation has donated equipment, furniture, and fixtures to the Philippine Children’s Medical Center in Quezon City to support the hospital’s new brain center building.
The donation is intended for the Child Neuroscience Division’s third floor left wing, which will serve children with neurological, neurosurgical, developmental, and behavioral disorders. Items turned over included office desks, chairs, file storage units, and child-friendly tables and seating.
The company and the hospital formalized the donation during a deed of donation signing and turnover ceremony held at PCMC. Present at the event were Isuzu Philippines President Mikio Tsukui and PCMC Executive Director Dr. Cecilia O. Gan.
The new wing forms part of PCMC’s broader effort to expand its pediatric neurology services. The hospital remains one of the country’s main public institutions for specialized child healthcare, particularly for families that depend on government medical services. The additional facilities are expected to help the hospital accommodate more cases requiring neurological and developmental care.

“PCMC fulfills a profoundly noble mission by serving one of the most vulnerable groups in any nation - our children. Through this donation of essential equipment, furniture, and fixtures, we hope to contribute to an environment where children with neurological and developmental conditions can receive the specialized care they deserve. Supporting institutions like PCMC is one way we can help strengthen the future of our communities,” said Tsukui.
Gan thanked the company for the support, saying the donation would help improve conditions at the facility for both patients and medical personnel.
“We would like to thank Isuzu Philippines for embracing and supporting PCMC. This support will go beyond delivery of healthcare services, providing a better environment for our patients and for our healthcare workers providers,” said Gan.
Isuzu Philippines said the initiative is part of its continuing corporate social responsibility efforts in the country, particularly programs tied to community welfare and healthcare support.
