'BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang' debuts at No. 1 on Netflix

K-pop superstars BTS’ live performance at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul debuted at No. 1 on Netflix’s official charts. 

“BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang” was live streamed on Netflix on March 21. 

Netflix released its official weekly Global Top 10 of the most watched shows and movies for March 16 to 22 showing that “BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang” debuted at No. 1 on the non-English TV list with 13.1 million views. 

“Runtime may also vary across countries for live titles (due to edits after the live stream has ended). For live titles, we calculate “blended” views as the sum of live views, using the live viewing and runtime, and SVOD views, using SVOD viewing and runtime,” according to Netflix’s methodology. 

Before the official charts were released, Netflix posted on X that “18.4 million global viewers under Live+1 showed up for their BANGTAN when BTS reunited LIVE onstage for the first time in almost four years in BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG!”  

According to Netflix, “BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang” debuted in the top 10 in 80 countries and territories, including garnering the No. 1 spot in 24. 

The concert is No. 1 in Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Paraguay, El Salvador, Venezuela, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Philippines and Singapore. 

It landed in the top 10 in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, United States, Uruguay, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia, Türkiye, Ukraine, Egypt, Kenya, Morocco, Mauritius, Nigeria, South Africa, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia, Türkiye, Ukraine, Bahrain, Israel, India, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Maldives, Malaysia, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, Australia and New Zealand.
