“OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON REPORTED ALLEGED THEFT INCIDENT AT WILLIAMEST [LOVESTRUCK] FANMEETING IN MANILA
“On March 22, 2026, during the WilliamEst [Lovestruck] Fanmeeting in Manila managed by CDM Entertainment, an incident involving an alleged theft of a mobile phone was reported by an attendee. We sincerely apologize for the distress this situation may have caused.
“We understand how alarming it can be to believe that a personal belonging has been taken, and we appreciate that the matter was immediately brought to our attention.
“At the time of the incident, our personnel promptly offered assistance by calling in police and proposed to the fan to go to the local police station for the filing of appropriate charges. However, the attendee declined this assistance and chose to remain at the event.
“Following the event, we conducted a thorough review of the situation, including CCTV footage. Based on this review, we would like to clearly state that the individual in question did NOT steal any mobile phone. The footage shows that her attention was merely called by another spectator to a device on the ground, which she picked up with the apparent intention of turning it over to the appropriate personnel.
“We recognize that situations like this, especially in crowded environments, can lead to misunderstandings in the moment. However, we respectfully clarify that certain individuals have been wrongly identified online, resulting in misinformation and undue harm to their reputations, as well as to our organization.
“CDM Entertainment remains committed to both guest safety and fairness. While we take all reports seriously, we also have a responsibility to protect our staff, partners, and attendees from false or misleading accusations.
“This matter is currently under review by our legal team, and appropriate action will be taken against any malicious or defamatory conduct.
“In the interest of transparency, we will be releasing relevant portions of the CCTV footage to provide clarity on what transpired.
“Our priority remains to provide a safe and respectful environment for all attendees. Thank you for your understanding.
“Respectfully yours,
“CDM Entertainment
