GOSSIP GIRL: Vivamax star Robb Guinto goes viral for selling worn clothing online

I have joined countless celebrity bazaars in my life, but nothing quite prepared me for the wild, electric, and utterly unforgettable energy of the 4th-anniversary Celebrity Bazaar of Boss Toyo — a man who has turned passion, hustle, and a sharp eye for value into a full-blown cultural phenomenon.

When I was invited to set up my own booth at his much-talked-about Celebrity Bazaar, I honestly didn’t know what to expect. But the moment I stepped into his now-iconic museum, I was greeted by a sea of people — hundreds upon hundreds of eager fans, collectors, and the simply curious — filling every corner of the space. The buzz was unreal. It felt like a fiesta, a reunion, and a viral moment all rolled into one.

For those who have been living under a rock, Boss Toyo rose to fame through his viral “Pinoy Pawnstars” YouTube channel—where he buys, sells, and appraises unique memorabilia—from celebrity items to quirky collectibles. His relatability, street-smart charm, and negosyo mindset made him an online sensation. I first met him when he invited me to visit his store and asked me what I could sell to him. Boss Toyo bought my controversial Louis Vuitton makeup kit for P75,000. There I  saw the spark. Now, he’s a full-fledged brand.

The bazaar was a star-studded affair. Familiar faces like Ynez Veneracion, Viva Hotbabe  Sheree, John Roa, and Kim Rodriguez brought their own flair and fanbase to the event. But it was the popular influencer Sachzna Laparan who truly shook the crowd when she sold her Miss Flawless bikini for a jaw-dropping ₱8,000. Yes, you read that right.

And just when we thought the excitement had peaked, enter Vivamax star, Rob Guinto. Inspired by Sachzna’s  bold sale, Rob gamely announced that all of. Her bikinis had already sold out. But instead of calling it a day, she surprised everyone. With confidence and a wink, she said she would sell the panties she was wearing for ₱5,000. The crowd gasped… and then laughed… and then—believe it or not—someone actually bought it and smelled it in front of her- funny and creepy at the same time. But hats off to Rob Guinto because she really knows her market. Also, before saying yes to pictures and autographs, they had to buy first in her booth. She sold out all her old clothes! 

Was it shocking? Yes. Was it entertaining? Absolutely. But more than anything, it showed how this bazaar became a space where celebrities could connect with fans in the most unconventional ways possible.

As for me, I was overwhelmed—in the best way. Seeing the turnout, the support, and the sheer joy of people engaging with us reminded me why we do what we do. Entertainment is not just about performance; it’s about connection.

Boss Toyo’s 4th anniversary bazaar wasn’t just a celebration—it was a statement. A testament to how far creativity, courage, and a little bit of crazy can take you.
