Rider hurt in riding-in-tandem ambush in Cainta

A 38-year-old man was injured after two men onboard a motorcycle shot at him in Barangay San Roque, Cainta, Rizal, on Saturday, March 21.

Based on the police report, the victim, identified as "Adriane," was riding his motorcycle along M. Cruz when the suspects suddenly blocked his way and fired shots at him, hitting him in his upper abdomen. 

Adriane was quickly rushed to Metro Rizal Doctors Hospital for treatment as he recuperates from his injury.

The Cainta Municipal Police said they are still investigating the incident, as well as the identities of the suspects who remain at large.
