Easterlies to bring warm, humid weather over next 5 days — PAGASA
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Monday, March 23 said the easterlies, or warm winds from the Pacific Ocean, will continue to affect the country over the next five days, bringing generally warm and humid weather.
PAGASA weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said no low-pressure area or tropical cyclone is being monitored inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility as of Monday.
Due to the easterlies, he said the country will experience hot and humid weather, with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
However, he warned that severe thunderstorms may trigger flash floods or landslides in affected areas.
Meanwhile, Aurelio said there is no gale warning in any part of the country, which means sea conditions remain generally safe for small boats and other sea vessels.
